I sought out this practicum because of personal interest, and could not have been happier. Some of the tasks and projects I have done include: - helping coordinate Athletic Honors Night and Falcon Networking Night - creation of the monthly Falcon Flier newsletter - conducting weekly Mentor Meetings with academically at-risk student athletes - assisting with Percent Degree Completion paperwork - conducting meetings with prospective athletes regarding SAS services - co-advising Student-Athlete Advisory Committee ...and many others. This practicum has been a great opportunity to branch out and experience intercollegiate athletics as a functional area. Kerry is very flexible and open to ideas for programming and new initiatives.
